I recently stayed at B & B Charm and had a wonderful experience. The family room we stayed in was spacious and had two large beds. The room itself was basic but clean, with a tidy bathroom. Despite having only a fan, the high ceilings made it comfortable and we didn't even need an air conditioning. The best part was the kitchenette that we could use, which allowed us to make tea, cut fruits, and even make fried eggs. The host family was extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the B & B was also perfect, with both Hiriketiya and Dikwella beaches within a 5-7 minute walk.

This charming B&B had a 24-hour front desk, free WiFi, and a cozy fireplace in my room. The kitchen was handy for breakfast. The nearby beaches were great!
I just loved paying extra for the privilege of a hot shower every day. So thoughtful!

Located between two fabulous beaches, this homestay is the ideal base for beach lovers. Just a short walk away from both Hiriketiya and Dickwella beaches, guests can easily enjoy sun, sand, and surf. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with spacious bathrooms and some even featuring balconies. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. Guests can also avail of facilities like mosquito nets and a kitchen, adding to the convenience.
One minor drawback is that the water pressure in the bathroom can be a bit low at times.

I had the most amazing stay at this brand new guesthouse owned by a lovely local family! The room was nice and clean, and the location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from two beautiful beaches. The staff was incredibly helpful and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The bathroom was spacious and the balcony added a nice touch. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and I loved how close I was to the beach. The breakfast was delicious, and the beds were so comfortable. It was exactly what I needed after a few crazy nights elsewhere. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a cheap and nice room in the area!

I had a great time trying to balance my belongings on the floor and bed. The open window let in fresh air, and potential intruders, what an adventure! The bathroom's changes in level kept me on my toes. And those aggressive dogs, such a thrilling way to feel unsafe at night!
Who needs a friendly host when you can enjoy the owner's indifference? And why bother helping with luggage or removing shoes when yelling orders is so much more enjoyable?

The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

One of the highlights of my stay was the fully equipped kitchen in the unit I stayed in. It had everything I needed to whip up a delicious meal, from a fridge and oven to a minibar and toaster. It felt like having my own personal chef's station at my fingertips!
Service delay.

I recently stayed at a brand new guesthouse run by a lovely local family. The room was nice and clean, with a fan that kept it comfortable. The kitchenette was a bonus, allowing us to make our own meals. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to both Hiriketiya and Dikwella beaches. The family who owns the guesthouse were extremely friendly and helpful, accommodating our food preferences. The breakfast and other meals were delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning.
